Rescue Stories/ Krystal

Krystal

In June of the year 2009, we rescued a beautiful female cat

and a kitten of hers from Cutler Bay.

My oldest son, wife, daughter, and oldest son had lived in the

area and my son had fed the cat that the kids named

Stripes.

As they moved out of the area, my son asked me if I could

house Stripes and her kitten, which I did, and named her

kitten Francoise.

Soon after Stripes joined us, I noticed she was pregnant,

having five beautiful kittens that were named

Stela, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Gaea., all but Gaea being

adopted, and Gaea lived with us until she parted at the age of

16, in 2025.

I used to travel frequently for work, and did not get Stripes

spayed as soon as I had wanted to do so, giving birth the

following year, in 2010, to other seven kitties, among them

Krystal, who is a tabby that is still with us, rather petite, with

markings similar to her mother’s but smaller and with shorter

hair.

Thank God Krystal has been a very healthy cat, with very

good appetite, only that rather timid.

She is very loving and truly cute.
